Jon Stewart, Fifty Shades of Grey, Zimbabwe’s clinically insane president… all packaged neatly in this fourth edition of #Millennial. Oh and Laura dies.
This week:
- JON STEWART IS LEAVING THE DAILY SHOW
- NO REALLY
- THIS IS NOT A DRILL WHAT IS LIFE
- And this is about as far as we get before the winter storm knocks out Laura’s power. Thanks, Obama.
- Fifty Shades of Grey– the reviews are in.
- We pay homage to the three young Americans who were shot and killed in North Carolina this past week.
- Zimbabwe’s President, Robert Mugabe, is launching a massive security investigation into… why he tripped and fell. No, really.
- ISIS: “For fuck’s sake guys, you know you’re only allowed to kill yourself with car bombs right? Didn’t we cover this at the last meeting?”
- President Obama asks Congress for permission to wage war against ISIS, and doesn’t ask their permission to close off the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) to drilling.
- We take turns reading WTF News in our best Micah voices. We get pretty into it. Matt starts touching himself.
- Facebook announces a new feature: Legacy Contacts. So when you die, someone can creep out your family with eerie status updates from the grave.
And this week, on After Dark:
- Talking about Valentine’s Day leads to remembering our past road tripping adventures, wherein Matt almost gets us arrested.
- A new dumb report says that people who use a lot of emojis have more sex. Some of us can personally attest that this is absolutely not true.
